Anđela Draganić was born in Nikšić. She received her Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in 2010 and her Specialist degree in 2011 from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Montenegro. She completed her studies with an average grade of 9.22/10.00. She defended her Master’s thesis titled “Decomposition and Reconstruction of Multicomponent Signals Using Time-Frequency Analysis and Compressive Sensing” with a grade of 10.00 in July 2013 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Montenegro. She obtained her PhD degree by defending her doctoral dissertation titled “Analysis of Non-Stationary Multicomponent Signals with Focus on Compressive Sampling” in June 2018 at the same faculty (with an average grade of 10.00). The focus of Dr Anđela Draganić’s research includes time-frequency analysis and its applications in communications and audio signals, compressive sampling, hardware implementations of signal processing algorithms, biomedical signal processing, and digital data protection techniques.
During both high school and university studies, she was a recipient of scholarships from the Ministry of Education and Science for talented pupils and students, as well as a scholarship from the Municipality of Nikšić.
She has served as a reviewer for numerous international scientific journals, including: Signal Processing, IEEE Access, IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology, IEEE Signal Processing Letters, IEEE Wireless Communication Letters, Multimedia Tools and Applications, IET Wireless Sensor Systems, Electronics Letters, IET Signal Processing, IET Communications, IET Image Processing, IET Science, Measurement & Technology, Applied Soft Computing, Applied Surface Science, EURASIP Journal on Advances in Signal Processing, Journal of Circuits, Systems, and Computers, and Radioengineering. Dr. Anđela Draganić has published around 60 scientific papers, including more than10 in leading international journals (SCI/SCIE-indexed), as well as a larger number of papers in other international and national journals and at international conferences.
In June 2025, she was appointed a member of the Editorial Board (Handling Editor) of the prestigious signal processing journal (Q1 category according to the SCImago ranking) – Signal Processing.
Since June 2024, she has served as Vice Dean for Finance at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Montenegro, and since June 2025, she has been a member of the Quality Management System Board and the Master Studies Monitoring Board at the University of Montenegro.
Since 2018, she has been a member of the Center of Young Scientists and Artists at the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts.
From 2011 to 2021, she was engaged as a teaching assistant at the University of Montenegro. She was elected to the position of Assistant Professor at the University of Montenegro in March 2021. Her teaching engagement at the University of Montenegro has included lectures and laboratory exercises in a wide range of courses across different study programs, including: Multimedia Systems, Digital Electronics, Pulse and Digital Electronics, Fundamentals of Electronics, Fundamentals of Computing, Mathematics in Computing, Information Systems, Fundamentals of Business Informatics, Internet Technologies and Services, and Web Programming.
BIOGRAFIJA
Anđela Draganić je rođena u Nikšiću. Diplomu završenih bečelor studija (BSc)dobila je 2010. a diplomu specijalističkih studija 2011. godine na Elektrotehničkom fakultetu Univerziteta Crne Gore. Studije je završila sa prosječnom ocjenom 9.22. Magistarsku tezu „Dekompozicija i rekonstrukcija multikomponentnih signala korišćenjem vremensko-frekvencijske analize i Compressive Sensing-a“ odbranila je sa ocjenom 10.00 u julu 2013. godine na Elektrotehničkom fakultetu Univerziteta Crne Gore. Stepen doktora nauka stekla je odbranom doktorske teze pod nazivom „Analiza nestacionarnih multikomponentnih signala sa osvrtom na kompresivno očitavanje“ u junu 2018. na istom fakultetu (prosječna ocjena 10.00). Fokus istraživačkog rada dr Anđele Draganić su vremensko-frekvencijska analiza i njene primjene u komunikacijama i audio signalima, kompresivno odabiranje, hardverske realizacije algoritama za obradu signala, obrada biomedicinskih signala i tehnike zaštite digitalnih podataka.
Tokom srednje škole i tokom studija bila je korisnik stipendije Ministarstva prosvjete i nauke za talentovane učenike i studente, kao i stipendije Opštine Nikšić.

Od juna 2024. godine obavlja funkciju Prodekana za finansije na Elektrotehničkom fakultetu Univerziteta Crne Gore, a od juna 2025. godine je član Odbora za upravljanje sistemom kvaliteta i Odbora za monitoring master studija na Univerzitetu Crne Gore.
Od 2018. godine je član Centra mladih naučnika i umjetnika pri Crnogorskoj akademiji nauka i umjetnosti.
Od 2011. godine do 2021. godine bila je angažovana kao saradnik u nastavi na Univerzitetu Crne Gore. U zvanje docenta na Univerzitetu Crne Gore birana je u martu 2021. godine. Dosadašnji angažman na Univerzitetu Crne Gore je obuhvatao nastavu (predavanja i računske i/ili laboratorijske vježbe) iz većeg broja predmeta na različitim studijskim programima, među kojima su Multimedijalni sistemi, Digitalna elektronika, Impulsna i digitalna elektronika, Osnovi elektronike, Osnovi računarstva, Matematika u računarstvu, Informacioni sistemi, Osnovi poslovne informatike, Internet tehnologije i servisi, Web programiranje.
